Ellis Rowan's works are stunning works of art in their own right, regardless of any botanical value. Her paintings are long out of copyright and the article deserves the inclusion of one or two. -- EZ-SpelChek 02:45, 16 September 2005 (UTC) reply

A couple have been added from Alice Lounsberry's works. These are small reproductions, and don't quite do justice to the originals, but they do give the flavor of Rowan's style. Those I have scanned will be added to the Commons article on Ellis Rowan. If anyone else cares to add images of Rowan's work, perhaps they can do so on Commons. The National Library of Australia has an on-line database of many works by Rowan (see link here), but they state they don't want images copied to other sites. That is probably not a valid claim, based on my understanding of copyright, but I'm not willing to try to test that. For now, I'll stick to Rowan's published illustrations, all dating from circa 1900. -- Cotinis 16:16, 25 May 2006 (UTC) reply
Everthing is labelled incorrectly at the NLA picture library. Misappropriated images can be cropped of 'copyrights' and uploaded to commons. Fred 20:49, 31 July 2007 (UTC) reply
