no one had written a page for ecko...but once i did eveyone as quick as lighting gets on the band wagon to make nasty comments about the article and trash the article;
What's the point of this trivia?
The article on his company is rather short, and there needs to be one of him.
Guerrilla is another word for war.
Excuse my ignorance of diacritics but is the o- macron used here just for visual effect of the logo or part of the actual company name? I think this should be mentioned somewhere in the article. I also feel that the article title should match the first word in it - whichever is correct. Sparky132
Anyone know about the co-operation with nissan, and if so probably should include that in the article.
I removed the history section. Most of it was copied from http://nymag.com/fashion/fashionshows/designers/bios/marcecko/ on 17 May 2006. Diet Coke on the rocks 02:28, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
Image:Ecko Logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 02:40, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
After (re)discovering Marc Ecko from a theme design he's done for i-Google, I looked to Wikipedia for a description of who he is. I also found the article about Eckō, his clothing line. This was when I saw that, at the end of the commercials section, someone had added the apparently anti-Semitic comment, "it is made by jews". I was shocked and outraged, and immediately proceeded to correct the article. I don't know who the poor vandal is, or exactly what he intended to convey. However, I find Judaism to be an admirable and honorable culture from which we gained monotheism, the Ten Commandments, the book of the prophet Isaiah, the Psalms of David, and on and on. Judaism should NEVER be treated that flippantly, and neither I nor anybody else should have to tolerate encountering this kind of egregious disrespect. Entrepreneur68 ( talk) 04:24, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
Ecko Unltd. never went bankrupt - a former licensee, MEE Apparel LLC, did. [WWD 1] If it's collectively decided that adding this information to the Ecko Unltd will improve the project, I believe that the distinction that it was a former licensee must be made. Ecko Unlimited → Ecko Unltd. – WP:COMMONNAME and WP:OFFICIALNAME. A prior RM concluded that that the diacritic in "Eckō" should not be used, but with no clear consensus for dropping the "Unltd." in favor of "Unlimited". The short form is the one used by the company everywhere and the one found in pretty much all sources. Lordtobi ( ✉) 09:37, 14 October 2019 (UTC)
