David Hall (athlete). I think that these are the same individuals. I really have no preference on which article should be the main identifier or which should be merged into which.-

Regarding the direction of the merge, I suggest that this might best be to
David C. Hall, on the grounds that Hall is notable for more than just being an athlete. That page is also better-referenced, although it is the newer article.
