I'm going to gradually work on these myself, but Dartmouth is ripe with traditions. If "streaking" is important enough to put in here, then there are many, many others which also deserve to be mentioned - official and unofficial. Things like The Circuit (drinking at every fraternity in one night), more involving specific buildings/locations (Green's got a lot of them, but also things like the Mountaineering club climbing up buildings, Bartlett Tower used to have several traditions climbing either the interior or exterior, etc), and maybe even specific events at fraternities and societies (like Phi Tau's "Milque and Cookies", Panarchy's "Great Gatsby" party, others?). Lots of past traditions have also faded or been banned - I gave some examples in the article, but there are many more. Some of the very unofficial traditions like the "Dartmouth Seven" (which used to be its own article until it was AfD'ed) could deserve at least a passing mention.

As one of the charter members of the "Ledyard Challenge", I have to admit that there probably are many Dartmouth traditions that deserve much more prominence than this one. 76.105.219.46 ( talk) 21:08, 12 November 2010 (UTC)pjc reply

Back in the early 1970's, I seem to remember something called, "The Fog Cutter's Bash" that involved many litres of whisky, vodka, rum, various other solvents of the soul, memory and most anything else. There was a ditty of sorts about the ingredients that usually filled up a bathtub with the concoction. Someone mentioned that there was an article about in Newsweek mentioning the recipe in 1972/3.
