This article needs more references and citations. Does anyone know of any good references on Colombian folklore that we could use to verify this information?

Madremonte
This article seems to translate "Madremonte" as "Mother of the Forest" but I would translate it as "Mountain Mother". Is there an authoritative source on the translation in the article? or is "Mother of the Forest" a translation of an alternative name for the same figure? Either way it seems to need a bit of fixup. — Preceding
