Clonfin Ambush → Clonfin ambush – I initially proposed the renaming of this article (as well as Headford Ambush on the basis that "ambush" should not be capitalised. However, one user said this change might be considered controversial and may require a census before any changes be made, and recommended that I do this instead. They stated "Clonfin Ambush" is a proper noun and that it should remain. However, after looking at other articles about ambushes I found that almost all with the title "(x) ambush" have "ambush" written with a lowercase "a". For example: Warrenpoint ambush, Crossbarry ambush, Clonoe ambush, 1993 Fivemiletown ambush, Coolavokig ambush. Earle Bartibus Huxley ( talk) 12:39, 19 December 2023 (UTC) This is a contested technical request ( permalink). Earle Bartibus Huxley ( talk) 22:31, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
