Hectares is the standard unit for measuring land area in the metric system [1], comparable to the acre in US usage. It may not be a "standard" SI unit, but then neither is the litre. Considering the Cleveland metroparks emerald necklace is bigger shouldn't you be directed here first not Bostons??? You'd think but people from areas outside of Ohio think everything else is more important than Cleveland. I think it should be mentioned Cleveland Meteroparks received an award for one of the best park systems in a major city.
