My medical school classmate and I will be trying to improve this article as part of a school assignment. We chose this topic because childhood trauma is an important topic that impacts so many individuals and can have major health implications. We hope that our improvements to this article will help Wikipedia readers have a better understanding of childhood trauma, its health effects, protective factors, and available interventions.
After reviewing the article, we think that the article can be improved in a handful of ways, including sections which have been flagged by Wikipedia as lacking key citations or being too detailed for readers. The ways in which we will aim to improve the article are outlined below and we plan to complete these changes within the next 2-3 weeks:
PeteWheeler: Will reorganize and add citations to the treatments section. Bolster first paragraph of treatments section with context of access to treatments and efficacy.
SY: Will reorganize, shorten, and add citations to the epigenetics section, and link to the Epigenetics article on Wikipedia. Will move the intergenerational trauma and epigenetics sections closer together.

The Treatments section seems to be more streamlined and readable. I like the short, brief introductory paragraph summarizing the magnitude of the currently available evidence on effective treatments. One recommendation for the pharmaceutical treatments subsection is to speak to the pharmaceutical treatments that have been directly studied in the setting of childhood trauma, and if there aren't any studies or systematic reviews that have looked at this directly, mentioning it in this subsection. Right now it looks like you're referring to treatments for PTSD, but it's unclear if this is PTSD associated with childhood trauma or just PTSD in general. Are there any other pharmacological interventions that have been shown not to improve or even worsen symptoms related to childhood trauma? Are there any issues/controversies/challenges/structural impediments that hamper the identification and systematic evaluation of new interventions to lessen the psychological burden of childhood trauma? I do think that it's best to prioritize the inclusion of proven effective interventions, but sometimes mentioning why there are very few effective interventions may provide some noteworthy context to readers searching for treatment options.
I think what you both have done is great so far. The sections you edited are more readable and organized.
For the Treatment section, I like the many treatments you discuss. A few thoughts for changes include removing repeated hyperlinks (once you add a link for CBT once, the next occurrence of the phrase doesn't need to link to the same page) and removing study design jargon - the average Wikipedia reader does not necessarily appreciate the difference between an RCT and a systematic review, and it might make the article more accessible by using phrases such as, "some studies indicate that xx is a successful treatment."
For the Epigenetics section, my main impression is that there is a lot of scientific jargon and detail regarding studies - for example, I don't think it helps to say "rhesus macaques," and instead you could simply say, "animal studies have suggested a link between..." I also think the overall organization of this section could be improved by structuring as follows: brief introductory paragraph about epigenetics and its link to trauma; subsection going into a (very brief and accessible) overview of epigenetics; subsection describing the evidence for a link between epigenetic changes and trauma; and a subsection on the long-term impacts of trauma-related epigenetic changes on behavior and health; and maybe a subsection on treatment or reversal if there is any evidence for it?
I also think that if you can figure out how to remove the flags on those sections now that they have been updated, it would make readers more confident in the information and the article more readable overall.

I think there still remains a need for many improvements.
We think a global reorganization of the page could really improve it. We recommend organization the article in the following format: introduction, types of childhood trauma, health effects, and then treatments.
In the treatments section: I think that we need to improve the pharmaceuticals section by expanding it and adding more specifics about different types of pharmaceuticals and their efficacies.
I think that one could improve the Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Real Life Heroes (RLH) Treatment, Narrative-Emotion Process Coding System (NEPCS).
