It'd be nice if the article explained the title of the anime, since it doesn't seem to make any sense. 70.162.183.130 ( talk) 03:47, 10 July 2015 (UTC)Random person
Although at one time there were over 20 other characters listed in the article over the course of the series' airing, this is largely against the WP:TVCAST guideline, which states: "Remember to follow the notability guidelines when creating a cast list: Not every fictional character ever created deserves to be listed." Seeing as the vast majority on that list were characters that only appeared in one or two episodes, as little more than background characters at that, many of them do not need to be listed on the character list here outside of the context of the episodes in which they appeared. For instance, three prominent examples linked in the diff above are Udō, Arifumi Fukuyama and Saitō, who only appeared in one episode each: episode 2 for Udō, 4 for Arifumi, and 5 for Saitō. What's more, the descriptions for those characters in the character list in the diff above largely reiterate what is already present in the episode list summaries.
Seeing as this is wholly redundant, and is little more than plot summary when such characters are included in the character list (which is, indeed, what WP:TVCAST warns against: "Try to avoid using the section as a repository for further "in-universe" information that really belongs in the plot summary."), I opted to simply merge them into the episode list summaries to provide the necessary context for these characters. This is because they are not independently notable in regards to the plot of the series as a whole, and are more or less "filler" characters to advance the plot in which the episodes they appear. Of all the characters linked in the above diff, only a handful appear in a second episode, and their second appearance is again extremely minor. Sara Shane, for example, is a prominent figure in episode 8, but only appears on stage in episode 9, and does not appear after that for rest of the series. For this reason, I believe the other characters listed on this article should be only a fraction of those originally listed to conform with the WP:TVCAST guideline.
I believe a good enough benchmark is for the character to have appeared in at least 3 episodes to be listed in the character list. Of all the other characters, other than Shunsuke and Kumagami who are already notable in their own right for their direct influence on the overall plot, Shunsuke's other immediate friends Medoki, Shichino, and Maedomari are the only characters that fit that bill.-- 十 八 08:04, 30 September 2015 (UTC)

This article's Good Article nomination has been put on hold. During review, some issues were discovered that can be resolved without a major re-write. This is how the article, as of October 18, 2015, compares against the six good article criteria:
NOTE: Please respond, below entire review, and not interspersed throughout, thanks!
Please address these matters soon and then leave a note here showing how they have been resolved. Within 7 days, the article should be reviewed again. If these issues are not addressed by then, the article may be failed without further notice. Thank you for your work so far. — Cirt ( talk) 00:49, 18 October 2015 (UTC)
Hello, and thanks for the review. First I'll just point out that I fixed that sentence in the lead that was missing the word 'for' between praised and its. And as for paying it forward, I recently did two GA reviews: Talk:Blackwyche/GA1 and Talk:Cookie (video game)/GA1. Anyway, I can see the real issue here is with the stability of the article. First, let me point out that Versus001 was blocked indefinitely a couple days ago for some unrelated issue, so they won't be participating in this review. The recent, very minor disputes, between me, Versus001 and Infinite0694 were largely kept to the edit summaries in this article's history, and didn't extend to the talk page because I feel both parties were satisfied with the arguments given in the edit summaries. At any rate, Versus001 is now gone, and I consider what happened with Infinite0694 to be resolved at this point (I conceded to his argument), which had to do with the venerability of a wikilink.
I'll also add that much of the disruption a couple weeks ago was in response to the end of the anime series, and after I posted on the talk page the section Talk:Charlotte (anime)#Re: Other characters, that issue has not come up since. I reached out to the talk page in order to start a discussion regarding those characters, but unfortunately, no one else chose to comment. Although I'm not sure that the issue with the characters I outlined on the talk page will crop up again, there haven't been any edits related to that issue (such as re-adding characters) since this edit by an IP on September 30.-- 十 八 01:16, 18 October 2015 (UTC)
