I happy to review this interesting article. I'll send comments section by section, and where there are minor copy editing issues I will do them myself—please revert them if you wish. It will take a few days to check the article through before I start producing comments.
Assessment
Summary
GA review (see
here for what the criteria are, and
here for what they are not)
It is reasonably well written.
a (prose, spelling, and grammar): The copy editing that is required will be done before the end of the review. b (
MoS for
lead,
layout,
word choice,
fiction, and
lists): The lead needs to be expanded—this can wait until other issues in the article have been addressed.
In the captions, link: Geomorphology; Dinaric Alps; Levant sparrowhawk;
Link Tuzi in the captions.
include the name of the species of the sparrowhawk—Accipiter brevipes.
the images in the gallery look small, consider amending them by replacing the text with <gallery mode=packed heights=150px style="text-align:center">
File:Settlement_Patterns_Cem_Gorge.jpg|The Cijevna above the Montenegrin-Albanian border
File:Cemi_i_Nik%C3%A7it.jpg|Dried out riverbed of ''Cem i Vuklit''
File:Tamara_01.JPG|Tamara Gorge, Albania
</gallery>
The middle gallery image is of the river in Albania, the country should be included, I think.
The infobox image is interesting, but confusing, as it's hard to understand the size of the canyon. Consider replacing it with another image, such as [[File:Tamara 01.JPG]]

Maleschreiber: This is a very interesting and detailed article, but as the article stands, it cannot be said to be well written, because the grammar is not correct. Unresolved, this will cause the article to fail, and if there is a lot of correcting to do, I cannot copy edit the article with you and review it at the same time. Perhaps the best way forward is to address any other issues, and flag the article to be copy edited by someone else. What do you think?
I would amend ...a polje... to ‘...a vast flat plain known as a polje…’, as the term will be unfamiliar to many readers.
References 1-10 have been checked with the text, no problems found.

Polje is a geological term, but if you think that it needs to become simpler, it can be changed to karst field.
Thanks, I appreciate the work you've done. 'The Greek geographer Ptolemy...' is not a grammatical mistake, you're quite right, it just explains who the person was.

The maximal discharge rate of the river has been observed in May at 416 m3/s, - should be 41.6 (Mrdak & Hadžiablahović, p. 19).

In Albania, 130 bird species in total have been identified in Cem and its tributaries. - I could see how Ref 20 (Centre for Protection and Research of Birds) or Ref 21 (Méndez & Donázar) verified this.
Amitchell125 (

Ref 22 (balkanrivers.net) doesn't appear to mention 22 species.

The tumulus of Rakića Kuće... - does it matter that Ref 36 (Bugaj) says "...the tumulus at Kuća Rakića..."?

In Albania, 130 bird species in total have been identified in Cem and its tributaries. and the total number of species of fish are mentioned in Marojević (2014)
Whether we use of or at Rakića Kuće doesn't change its meaning, because a tumulus (basically, a large burial mound) has a fixed location, so it can't be found somewhere else other than in its place of origin.
Great, I'll address these issues and expand the lead. Done--

You need to check all your values are converted (including those for rainfall, e.g. 361 mm). Abbreviations are needed.

Thank you for the meticulous review! I will address them in the next couple of days. Does the lead need another expansion?--
Maleschreiber (

Yes, it does, just to make sure the main text is properly summarised. Thanks,

I've expanded the lead and addressed c/e. I haven't used some of the c/e suggestions because c/e had already taken place by another editor and in some parts I made some changes which are a bit different.--
