I agree, the article reads like an ad. On their website they have a nationwide coverage map, but I never heard of them. So they must be using another carrier's network, doesn't seem like T-Mobile, not likely to have unlimited data with AT&T: Sprint or Verizon? From 1-2 yrs ago I find these resources:

I agree. The company has even advertised their name has officially been changed to "C Spire". leemcd56 15:18, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
Vu Digital was deleted at WP:Articles for deletion/Vu Digital (2nd nomination), and the deletion was not overturned at WP:Deletion review/Log/2015 November 30.
