Article says tax must be paid on each transaction. This implies an additional tax. However, if you read the FAQ's on the Bristol £ website, this is not the case. VAT is to be paid on transactions, which is normal. Bristol Credit Union charge a small percentage for electronic transcations and to change £B back into GBP. 87.112.83.94 ( talk) 12:40, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
I want images, and lots of them!!! Now, now, now! Notes! Let's see the notes!!!! Anna Frodesiak ( talk) 09:23, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
My post here: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Bristol#Bristol Pound Images was not a discussion. It was a request, and a reasonable place to post such a request. Objecting to it, and arbitrarily archiving it seemed very bureaucratic and very 27B stroke 6ish. It's not like it's a hugely busy page. So, what's the harm? If you're a stickler for policy, rules, guidelines, etc, then please add a source to the image you uploaded File:Specimen Bristol Pound.jpg Anna Frodesiak ( talk) 03:47, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
Is there scope for a criticism section in this article? There are people who have disagreed on various grounds with the Bristol Pound and published/discussed those views. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.195.239.197 ( talk) 23:28, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
The section called 'The virtuous circle' does not mention the term 'virtuous circle'. It sounds non neutral, perhaps a better title would be 'circulation' or 'benefits'. Jonpatterns ( talk) 14:54, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
Agreed, I changed it to the 'Local Multiplier Effect' which is more adequate and corresponds better to the description Marie Ingrid Herman — Preceding undated comment added 11:16, 25 June 2015 (UTC)
To reflect Wikipedia's style guide for the names of currency units this article ought to be moved to "Bristol pound", without the capitalisation. TheCurrencyGuy ( talk) 21:45, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
