So in the residence section of the HouseGuests section, many people believe that it should be included the country that they HouseGuest is originally from (if it is not Canada). This practice was previously in place at Big Brother (U.S. TV series), but it was removed because it was determined that a HouseGuest's country of origin has nothing to do with their residence. The change should be implemented on Big Brother Canada pages as well. The only way around this in my opinion would be changing residence to hometown, as it's true that their origin country has nothing to do with their residence. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 03:35, 10 March 2017 (UTC)

There should be no HoH listed in the first column, the whole point of 'backwards' week is that the entire week is flipped on its head and that there is no HoH at the beginning of the week. There is no source that I can find that labels 'All houseguests' as HoH, unlike in week one of season there when the show explicitly stated that all houseguests are HoH. There have been times in the past where someone who has made a nomination but has not been labelled HoH (Coup d'Etat for example.) 12bigbrother12 ( talk) 03:43, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
I was thinking if William does use his veto the color should be this. Vetoes that were voted on are purple and diamonds are the grayish blue. This should be used for secret vetoes. Bgc7676 ( talk) 14:06, 24 April 2017 (UTC)
Jenn and Ian's vetoes were also two separate competitions whereas William's was a secret power of veto. Also it should not be purple because that represents things Canada voted on in the past. Bgc7676 ( talk) 05:04, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
The first four evictions should be wrapped!! It looks horrible when they are not wrapped and spread out like that. There is no reason not to let them be wrapped. Bgc7676 ( talk) 02:02, 28 April 2017 (UTC)
It also looks inconsistent when some columns are twice as thick as others. It just isn't practical. Why not just wrap them all instead of not wrapping them all? Bgc7676 ( talk) 16:07, 28 April 2017 (UTC)

Although I have no problem with using a color to indicate that the HouseGuests were voting to save, rather than evict, I find it a bit confusing using the same color as what is also used to indicate HouseGuests residing in secret rooms (Allison in Season 2, and Kelsey and Loveita in Season 4). I was just wondering if there was any reasoning behind it? — RachelRice ( talk, contribs) — 17:31, 3 May 2017 (UTC)
The house or Canada had to save Allison and Kelsey/Loveita, it is basically the same thing. A vote to save uses that color. Musicalorange6 ( talk) 19:13, 2 July 2017 (UTC)

There has been debate about whether or not to use the nowrap template on the Big Brother Canada 5 page to keep the voting table consistent (all columns have 2 line breaks instead of 3) Specifically, the edit states "Demetres' choice (br)" which means a line break after "choice", but when the edit is saved, there is a line break after "Demetres'" causing three line breaks. To fix this, I've used the
nowrap template {{
nowrap|Demetres' choice}}
, which fixes it from three line breaks back to 2 to be consistent with the entire voting table. However, a specific user has been constantly reverting my edits.
