GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)

This article is very nice, and meets just about all the requirements without major issues.

  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose): b ( MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
I think the lead may need a little expansion to touch on all sections in the body. Maybe just a little more information about the reception and the tie-in to Roosevelt.
Expanded a bit, think it's ready. - Theornamentalist ( talk) 03:02, 6 October 2012 (UTC) reply
  1. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c ( OR):
  2. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
  3. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  4. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  5. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
I believe you've got the wrong licenses on all the images. Instead of using {{ Self}}, I think you should be using {{ PD-US}}, since you are not the copyright holder.
I believe you are referring to the cover image and the frontispiece, as the others are marked PD-1923. Regarding the cover and frontispiece, this is a result of them technically being derivatives of the original djvu file. Since I have modified the original source file by isolating/rotating/bleaching these images, I have to release them into CC as a modifier, which is only allowed since the original file is PD-1923. - Theornamentalist ( talk) 03:02, 6 October 2012 (UTC) reply
Oops, for some reason I thought all four of them had the same license, and I misunderstood what you had done with the cover and frontspiece in terms of derivation. — Torchiest talk edits 03:32, 6 October 2012 (UTC) reply
  1. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
I did some minor copy editing and such myself, instead of listing those issues here. Otherwise, this is pretty much ready to pass pending image fixes and minor lead expansion. — Torchiest talk edits 19:05, 3 October 2012 (UTC) reply

Oh, one other issues: is there any reason why the title isn't fully capitalized? I think that, per WP:NCB, we would normally capitalize this article thus: Betelguese, a Trip Through Hell. — Torchiest talk edits 19:10, 3 October 2012 (UTC) reply

Corrected; additionally, the title appearing throughout the work has been adjusted. - Theornamentalist ( talk) 03:02, 6 October 2012 (UTC) reply
Okay, I gave it a few more touch ups, but it's a pass. Congrats! — Torchiest talk edits 03:35, 6 October 2012 (UTC) reply
