Hi I'll review this over the week to come. Some of my comments might be prose things not needed for GA status, so don't feel like you have to take action on every one. Eddie891 Talk Work 23:34, 19 January 2021 (UTC) reply

Sourcing
  • What makes Mr. Schu Reads a reliable source?
The information there is verifiable and reliable because it's an interview with Pham that I'm summarizing. Best, Barkeep49 ( talk) 00:33, 20 January 2021 (UTC) reply
  • All other sources seem reliable for what they're being used for
Prose
  • What does "gouache" mean?
  • "Unusually after reading the manuscript, illustrator LeUyen Pham immediately knew what the finished book would " Given that it's entirely possible this is an exaggeration, could you maybe consider something like "in an interview, illustrator LeUyen Pham said that she knew what the finished book would look like immediately after reading the manuscript and she eagerly accepted the commission" or something?
    •  Done
  • "Pham loved the spare text " what is spare text?
  • "was "so unexpected from [Morris]"." what does this quote tell us? Did she know morris and didn't expect it? Was it unexpected from an author in general? Something else?
    • The text of this book was different stylistically from Morris' other works. I choose to mention it from the interview because it was a reason she was so excited about the book but it also was mentioned by a critic or two. Best, Barkeep49 ( talk) 16:09, 20 January 2021 (UTC) reply
  • I removed most of the commas before quotes per MOS:"-- sentence fragments shouldn't have commas, and none of them need them. Feel free to rv if you desire.
    • Grammar isn't my strength and so I'm happy to defer to those who know more about this than I do. Best, Barkeep49 ( talk) 16:09, 20 January 2021 (UTC) reply
  • "Several design elements also contribute to the book. " does this add any value?
    • I like topic sentences to give a frame to the reader for the information that follows. Best, Barkeep49 ( talk) 16:09, 20 January 2021 (UTC) reply
  • "A river doesn't know what it is" I'm not quite sure what this means to be honest
  • I've copyedited as well. Please check that my changes are agreeable to you. Suggestions all, don't feel obligated to action them. Eddie891 Talk Work 00:11, 20 January 2021 (UTC) reply
    • I changed one thing but as above I'm pretty que sera sera about such things. Best, Barkeep49 ( talk) 16:09, 20 January 2021 (UTC) reply
Spotcheck
  • You should probably note that CSM's review is 4/5 stars-- some reviews are just 4
    •  Done
  • Citations for "Danielson in her in her review for The Horn Book Magazine praised the character's journey, as did Kirkus Reviews in its starred review." seem to be mixed up
    • Rephrased. Does that work? Best, Barkeep49 ( talk) 16:09, 20 January 2021 (UTC) reply
      • I just meant that you cited Kirkus Reviews for THB and THB for Kirkus Reviews. I've rearranged. Eddie891 Talk Work 16:58, 20 January 2021 (UTC) reply
  • I've checked the vast majority of sourcing, it all lines up well. On a side note, LeUyen Pham is a surprisingly interesting person to listen to speaking.
comprehensiveness
  • I checked several databases and google and found no major sources that seem worth adding
IR
  • sole image is appropriately licenced
  • OK, this meets the GA criteria. Prose isn't perfect, but it's certainly good enough for the GA standards. Eddie891 Talk Work 16:58, 20 January 2021 (UTC) reply
