Our source for Basra city says "Basra province, or Al Basrah province, is a province of iraq, with an area of 19,070 square kilometers and an estimated population of about 1,880,000 (2003)." Mosul is the second largest city in Iraq, not Basra, unless you count Mosul under the control of the Islamic State then consequently/maybe it is not applicable. Thoughts? Alastairjc ( talk) 01:06, 20 March 2015 (UTC)
