This quote seems to be frequently misattributed to House Corrino. It "first" appears in Children of Dune (page 150 in my Ace paperback printing), and is linked there with only "[the Bene Gesserit's] own manuals". I haven't read House Corrino, so I'm not saying the reference is spurious, but is probably just a(nother) retcon in that book / series. Dfrauzel 07:59, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
The members of the Bene Gesserit delegation had wanted to know if she required proofs of their allegations. She'd given them an angry answer out of their own manuals: "All proofs inevitably lead to propositions which have no proof! All things are known because we want to believe in them."
