What was notable about this person? Most of the article is about her husband, who has his own article. That she got her portrait painted by West and that she took over her husband's duties as county treasurer on his death are the only facts exclusively about her that I see.--

You're right about the emphasis of the article, which focuses too much on her husband. I think she's significant because, as an eighteenth-century women, she served for a significant amount of time as the Treasurer of one of Pennsylvania's most important counties--and, as such, corresponded with David Rittenhouse, etc. I'm not sure when there was another woman who served as a Treasurer in PA, but it hadn't happened in the early 20th century. She made some interesting comments on Thomas Paine, too, while he was living in her house during 1776-77. I'll try in the next few days to re-write the article so it focuses more on what is exclusively about her. -- Scott (Jericlis)
Or, you could just move the scant info on her to her husband's article, and change this page to a redirect thither.--

I have just proposed such a merge and tagged as such.
