As far as I remember, he did not study at the university which became the Technical University of Denmark, but he studied at the Danish Engineering Academia (Dansk Ingeniørakademi, DIA), which later merged with TUD. I think it is not correct to say that he studied at TUD, it should be changed to DIA, with an explanation of what DIA is. DIA graduates were bachelors. Dybdahl 13:40, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
This article is one of thousands on Wikipedia that have a link to YouTube in it. Based on the External links policy, most of these should probably be removed. I'm putting this message here, on this talk page, to request the regular editors take a look at the link and make sure it doesn't violate policy. In short: 1. 99% of the time YouTube should not be used as a source. 2. We must not link to material that violates someones copyright. If you are not sure if the link on this article should be removed or you would like to help spread this message contact us on this page. Thanks, --- J.S ( t| c) 05:16, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
I noticed there is a phrase "for all those years, Niels Jensen had successfully handled the relationship between Borland and Polydata", but who is Niels Jensen? There is no mention of this name at other places in this article at all? And it is added by an IP. - Cyferz ( talk) 21:47, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
I am translating this article into Thai language, but I am not sure how to pronounce Hejlsberg. The best reference I can find is the Japanese version, which spell it like Hels-berg. Sorry if this is not relevant to the article directly but I think I got the best chance to get the answer here. -- Biglobster ( talk) 07:56, 16 April 2014 (UTC)
It would be great, if there is link to GitHub/GitLab account and OpenHub account for each notable developer on Wikipedia. It would be motivation for students and it allows to follow mind of such person. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.102.8.6 ( talk) 07:40, 14 January 2020 (UTC)
In April 2022 ( diff), an anonymous user added information about Anders' supposed marriage to Liz Hejlsberg in 1994 without any source for this claim.
I tried searching online for any info on Anders Hejlsberg spouse, marriage or the name Liz Hejlsberg, but couldn't find anything except for this Instagram post on an Instagram account that looks like it belongs to him. The post is dated to July 17, 2019 and celebrates 25 years of his marriage. It doesn't mention the name of the spouse, but the person next to Anders in the picture is tagged as miss_tangerine1, whose account has the full name "Liz Hejlsberg". 25 years (the supposed length of the marriage at that point in time) prior to the date of the post (July 17, 2019) would be in the year 1994. This would support both of the claims for the name of the spouse and the marriage year, but I'm not sure if this would be considered a valid source of such information for a few reasons:
Given all the above, should the claim above the spouse and year of marriage be removed? For now, I'm tagging it with {{ citation needed}}. Neme12 ( talk) 20:08, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
