American Well → ? – American Well is rebranding to Amwell. We have a new website in place and are making the announcement to the public on March 10th. The new website is: https://business.amwell.com/, our first press release under this name is filed here: https://business.amwell.com/press-release/amwell-launches-national-covid-19-telehealth-response-program/. In addition, Online Care Group is also rebranding to Amwell Medical Group. That website can be found here: https://providers.amwell.com/amwell-medical-group/ Arielle.Bobek ( talk) 14:35, 6 March 2020 (UTC) reply

That would be great, thank you! Is there anything that you need from me? Arielle.Bobek ( talk) 13:38, 10 March 2020 (UTC) reply

  • Closing comment: Corporate rebranding often leads to friction here and we have just shown it need not do so. Arielle.Bobek, thanks for your cooperation, and if I can help drop me a line on my user talk page. Andrewa ( talk) 15:13, 14 March 2020 (UTC) reply

The article says the company was included in a top-10 list of PitchBook, citing a web page published at HotTopics.ht. As far as I can tell, HotTopics.ht and PitchBook are not reliable sources. HotTopics.ht is some site for self-published marketing material. Note that there is no Wikipedia article about either of them. I removed this statement, as it seems non-notable and unreliable. If some other, more reliable, publication can be found that says that inclusion in that top-10 list is noteworthy, I am willing to restore it. — BarrelProof ( talk) 16:43, 6 March 2020 (UTC) reply

  • Support The current name appears to be more commonly used in reliable sources -- this was not necessarily the case at the time of the previous proposal, which appears to have been made right after the change was announced. But usage has since shifted. Any benefits of choosing natural disambiguation certainly don't outweigh both the common name and the fact that there isn't really a debate that one is the current name and one is not.-- Yaksar (let's chat) 22:13, 18 February 2022 (UTC) reply
