In the Age of Apocalypse reality, Rogue and Magneto became romantically involved, Magneto even working out a way for them to touch by surrounding his body in a tight electromagnetic 'sheath' that prevented her from actually making contact with his skin while still feeling as though she was-, and were able to conceive a son named Charles,

I never understood this part of the AoA timeline if he never made contact with Rogue then how can they have had a biological son, i always figured he was adopted (a mutant that they saved when he was just born, and they rased him as their own)
