More Literal Translation?

Is there a more literal translation that we could add?-- Geremia ( talk) 16:40, 8 September 2009 (UTC) reply

Yes. One by Cardinal Newman. Ive added it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.36.88.163 ( talk) 17:11, 15 August 2012 (UTC) reply

Thanks for Newman's translation; it is very nice. But I note that neither translation really puts in any equivalent to the verb manes. Nor has any other translation I've ever seen. Can anyone help out with this? Rwflammang ( talk) 02:55, 18 December 2018 (UTC) reply
CMAA has a literal translation which I've added (since they license it as CC-BY 3.0). W4rd3n ( talk) 21:20, 21 December 2019 (UTC) reply
