ANE or only ANE1?

The source that has been used Medline is seemingly confusing as it conflates IIAE3 and ANE type 1. Its own references in turn do not specify only ANE1. I have removed mention of ANE type 1 from this article, but the entire thing could do with a do-over to use sources that are not specific to any subtype. It makes no sense to have a specific article for each subtype when the literature describes them as being so similar. I can't even find any mention of types such as ANE2 in the literature, just IIAE-subtypes which I've already added info on in a passage under genetics. CFCF ( talk) 09:39, 5 March 2023 (UTC) reply
