Article title change

Given that the title "A Court of Thrones and Roses" refers to both the entire book series as well as to the first book, I believe it would be best to add parentheses to emphasis the difference. SpiritedMichelle ( talk) 03:44, 3 November 2019 (UTC) reply

Except no article exists for the first book, so the series is allowed to reside at the non-disambiguated title. Same applies for Throne of Glass. -- / Alex/ 21 06:14, 3 November 2019 (UTC) reply

Overview

The overview paragraph seems to describe just the first book, not the series as a whole. Phlar ( talk) 17:12, 24 November 2019 (UTC) reply

Ah, such helpful advice. Would you happen to have a reliable source that describes the whole series? I’ve only read half of the first book myself. Phlar ( talk) 04:45, 25 November 2019 (UTC) reply

Add Author Inspiration for These Novels

This series was inspired by certain folklore and greek mythology. If this was included in the article it would help a reader understand the certain plot developments that take place in this series. Such as the beauty and the beast re-telling for the first novel then into the persephone and hades inspiration for the second novel. I wouldn't classify them as spoilers because as I said they are used for inspiration, and for someone who may have not read the books would not know if they are direct copies beginning to end. Sarah J Maas has mentioned before that her books have classical inspirations, so for her next books it would be great to continue adding those. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Marilougarcia ( talkcontribs) 19:08, 9 October 2020 (UTC) reply

The series consists of one book. There's no need for an article for it until at least two, if not the entire trilogy, has been released. -- / Alex/ 21 00:20, 15 January 2021 (UTC) reply

Semi-protected edit request on 7 March 2021

The most recent edits to the Characters section have unconfirmed claims about the characters' relationships to each other. The source that can be used as evidence for this is the new book in the series, A Court of Silver Flames. Specifically, the word "mate" is a very specific designation in the series, and the most recent edits use this word to inaccurately change the relationships described between: Lucien, Elain, Azriel, and Vassa. There is also a claim that two characters are lovers (Emerie and Mor) when this is not substantiated in canon as we currently have it from the author of the series.

Change requests include:

Please change "Elain Archeron: Nesta and Feyre's sister, Lucien's former mate, Azriel's mate. She was turned into fae against her will by the King of Hybern using the Cauldron and became a seer during her transformation." Please change "Lucien Vanserra: Former emissary to the Spring and the Night Court, heir to the Day Court, Freya and Helion's son, Elain's former mate, Vassa's mate, Jurian's friend.  Partly done: I have removed the entire section. It needs summarising and ideally references to independent sources which give some information on the series, not just a reader's interpretation of WP:PRIMARY sources. RandomCanadian ( talk / contribs) 18:36, 7 March 2021 (UTC) reply
