I believe 流浪の民 is referring to Zigeunerleben by Robert Schumann, which is what came up for the first few links when I searched "流浪の民" in Google. Amazon describes it as Schumann's op.29-3. ja:ロベルト・シューマン also has the name 流浪の民 for op.29-3. Imnowei ( talk) 06:34, 14 February 2009 (UTC) reply

Since I was the one who tagged that passage for converting to prose, I should probably explain myself. Wikipedia's manual of style frowns on inset lists such as this; see WP:LIST for details, but aside from navigational lists linking to other articles and websites, and material that is self-organized as a list (such as publications in a series), it is generally held that it's better to present this material in prose. (The only generally allowed exception is characters in a work of fiction.)

I think I know how to do this with the species, but I don't know enough to do it all myself. The basic idea is, instead of slicing by type of organism, slice by region—that is, describe the changes (in both species and climate/eocsystem) experienced by each group. So we'd get a paragraph-or-so describing Kyushu, another for Kobe region, Kanto, Hokkaido, and so on. In addition to more closely adhering to formatting guidelines, this has the advantage of being easier to cast in out-of-universe language and making it more obvious out to source material to the work.

It seems no one else has done this so I guess I'll reply to your post once again. I hope this helps.

In Q1, when asked how was the concept conceived, Tamura said that she had a survival story in mind at first, then after she had done the intro, she thought if something were to happen, who will be protected and who will be left behind, who will we spend our time with and who will bring us happiness...the exact cause may vary but this is basically how it all started.

In Q3, when asked that since the story is unique in having two protagonists, Natsu and Hana (according to author's note in volume 2), which one resembles the author more, she responded that it's Natsu, then she mentioned that she'd always thought about what she could do if she were to live in a world devastated by some kind of catastrophe.

Q7, which has been asked the most by fans, was whether she has thought of an ending scenario yet. To this question Tamura answered that she doesn't know when it'll end, but has an idea of where it will end, but may change her mind later (I'm not 100% sure about this). She also joked about having arcs about foreign survivors.

Questions after Q7 refer to Basara and other works done by Tamura, as well as general questions like "who was your favorite character", "what have you been listening/watching lately", etc.

Given all the rest of the setting section has been prosified, these last few bullets look darned odd. So I'm moving them here, to be worked into the section as we can:

• Dogs, which that hunt dinosaurs in packs.
• Monkeys, which live in trees and forest areas.
• Flower (hana) tree, which grows near one of the Fujis.
• Blue Mucus, which was accidentally touched by Hana of the Spring group, and infected her hand with a skin disease. Every animal or plant that gets this disease would eventually die. The available cure is by using high concentrated salt or salt water. Blue Mucus usually pops up during first rainy season and disappears quietly by sea water or salt water until the next rainy season.

Hi, everyone!

My user name is NatsuX, and I'm really happy to find a whole group of experienced wikipedia users who love 7 Seeds as well and give it their all to improve the information available on this awesome manga! I'd like to ask you guys for your help in case you can spare some time for us...? :-)

Currently, I'm pretty much representing a group of 7 Seeds fans whose goal is to collect enough supporters, so that we can recommend 7 Seeds to a publishing company and get it licensed in English language. This way, 7 Seeds could be sown around the entire world!

We'd so love to support Tamura-sama financially, but most of us abroad can neither speak nor read Japanese. But if there were licensed, officially published volumes in English language available, we could buy and read them with no problems.

So I thought if we update and improve the website with all the info on 7 Seeds, we can show it to the publisher we'll choose and make him get interested in this series. A well-built site with all the important information about 7 Seeds might attract more readers too, as they start searching for information about 7 Seeds once word about publishing it gets around.

But there's still a lot of work to be done on this site, and since I'm a complete wikipedia newbie (I just started yesterday), I'd like to ask for your experienced help to add and improve content.

I didn't know about the rule considering WP:NOR. Thank Cyn starchaser very much for removing the literary criticism before I got into trouble! Though I don't really understand yet why he/she removed the spoiler alerts as well - I thought it would be useful to warn the fans in advance who don't like spoilers. (I, for my part, really hate getting too much information in advance, I wanna get surprised by the flow of the story.) And isn't 7 Seeds Josei genre, too? Many women love it.

A little bit painful to me was the removal of my catchphrase about the "hour of truth" and the butchering of my summaries written with all of my heart. I thought, the more beautifully the summaries are written, the more interested the publishers might become into 7 Seeds. Is there really a wikipedia rule saying that volume summaries shouldn't contain more than 300 signs? Wouldn’t they be glad if their editors add more content voluntarily? I mean, this isn't like this description is actually gonna be put in a back cover where you only have a certain amount of signs available. So wouldn't it be alright to write the summaries more suspenseful and heart-catching?

I'm really grateful to Cyn starchaser adding the release dates and the ISBN's, since I cannot read Japanese and wouldn't have been completely sure whether it were really the right numbers. Who was the one who built up this volume content table? Would you be alright with it if we add the coverpage pictures (in a separate column next to the Vol. Nr.) as well to make it more eye-catching and insert a white, empty line between every volume so that the information blocs are visually separated and readable more easily? As from my experience, if the blocs are seen as a single big unit without any visual difference, it's visually more exhausting for the reader to make out the end and start of each volume.

Because I don't have any experience whatsoever with building tables and inserting images: if you're ready to support our 'improve wikipedia article to advertise 7 Seeds to a publishing house' project, maybe you guys could help me on that part, too? I don't know how to insert columns and rows, and I have no idea where I can find and insert the coverpage pictures legally.

I looked at the pages of Shokagukan and Amazon.co.jp, but everything there's written in Japanese; I couldn't make heads or tails of it, and the pics I saw were too small to use. I also didn't know how to re-size them since I didn't want to click on the Japanese words by chance.

I'd really like to work together with all of you in order to sow 7 Seeds to the entire world! :-D

Editings on the table

Cyn starchaser gave me some useful advice when I asked him about his changes. (Thank you very much! ;-) ) Thus, I accepted his edits to make a more 'neutral' view for the readers possible. The only thing I wanted to change was making the table more easily readable - I hope it worked out and the changes are alright with everyone. I prepared the table so that we could include the coverpage pictures once we get the official permission of Shogakukan to use the images (I'll try getting it.) Until that time, there's a place-holder inserted in the second column.

Since I'm still a newbie at wikipedia, I hope you can tell me if I made some mistakes.
