Donni Hotwheel Megamix

It should be noted that the Singles Collection single track listing says that a megamix by Donnihotwheel is included on the CD but when played, it is not on it. Instead it is only 3 and The Groove Police Club Remix (Cprice1000 03:44, 28 July 2010 (UTC)) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cprice1000 ( talkcontribs)

Information about 3

Oh No!

Someone has completely vandalized the chart positions! I was unable to revert the edit due to the editing conflicts message when I tried to undo the edit saying it had to be manually redone and I have no idea where to find all those charts! -- Cprice1000 talk2me 13:50, 9 October 2010 (UTC) reply

3 (Britney Spears song) 3 (song) – This is the only song with this name that has it's own page. The other song with this page was redirected because it fails to meet criteria. I would move the article myself, but it was requested to be moved to this so I figured it warranted a discussion. Shadow ( talk) 05:23, 9 February 2014 (UTC) reply

  • Oppose I would say it's just too confusing to use such a simplistic title, especially as singles on Wikipedia also carry the disambiguator "song", which may not have any song with the title of the single on them. -- 70.24.244.161 ( talk) 06:36, 9 February 2014 (UTC) reply

A track titled "3", which was originally released as a digital single on disturbed1.com for a campaign backing the West Memphis Three, was not originally intended to be released on the album but was included due to a surprise hearing for the West Memphis Three, resulting in their release from prison.

  • Comment They reason was given. It's not really notable outside of that, no video, no awards, no chart postilions, nothing really. -- Shadow ( talk) 18:40, 9 February 2014 (UTC) reply
  • Oppose - per 70.24.244.161; a move to 3 (song) fails the nutshell of WP:TITLE and serves no purpose. Once "(song)" is there no one will type "3 (song)" so hiding (Britney Spears song) adds benefit to no one and obstructs both Britney Spears' fans and any other Users. And that's without all the Three (disambiguation) songs and other 3 (disambiguation) songs. In ictu oculi ( talk) 06:52, 9 February 2014 (UTC) reply
  • Comment By that logic, all Britney songs should have her name in the title, all Lady Gaga songs should have her name in the title, etc etc. That's not how the site works though. And it wouldn't obstruct anyone, Britney Spears fans especially. Not to mention the redirect would still be there. -- Shadow ( talk) 18:40, 9 February 2014 (UTC) reply
Well correct, most if not all non-primary topic (Britney Spears song)s should have her name in the WP:TITLE, most if not all non-primary topic (Lady Gaga song)s should have her name in the title, etc etc, per WP:CRITERIA. But against that there are a few cases where there genuinely are (no name song) titles which are genuinely unique as (song) and not just WP:RECENT. But this evidently isn't one of them. We're not dealing with primary topic here (Britney Spears song) is already disambiguating, and doing so unambiguously. No one has yet given a reason to ambiguate the disambiguation. In ictu oculi ( talk) 10:46, 10 February 2014 (UTC) reply
  • Oppose. Generally I'd be more open to moves like this, but I feel like the title of the article would be way too vague if its disambiguator was shortened; I think the current arrangement is fine. WikiRedactor ( talk) 17:41, 9 February 2014 (UTC) reply
  • Comment It's a song called 3...how is that vague? It's not a common song title. -- Shadow ( talk) 18:40, 9 February 2014 (UTC) reply
  • The disambiguation page begs to differ. There are five songs titled "3" and six more titled "Three"; removing the "Britney Spears" from the title would make matters more confusing for less-familiar readers. WikiRedactor ( talk) 21:35, 9 February 2014 (UTC) reply
  • I meant not common in the sense that there are a bunch of articles with this name. This is the only song with apparent notable status to warrant an article. -- Shadow ( talk) 23:42, 9 February 2014 (UTC) reply

Unblank the blanked non-Britney article?

An essential part of the argument above for ambiguating (Britney Spears song) by removing the artist name is based on another article with media coverage having been blanked and redirected without discussion. What is the procedure to restore the blanked article? Or at least expand the album coverage. In ictu oculi ( talk) 10:49, 10 February 2014 (UTC) reply
