Bloodsucker Tales Vol. 2

The presence of the volume was causing me some disconcert as a 30 Days of Night collector, but I noticed that it is impossible (please, correct me if I'm wrong here) to find a rating for the volume, and it collects materials that either still have not yet been released as single issues or had not been released at the time the volume wasv (allegedly) printed. I can only conclude that this was the result of premature solicitation by IDW. Furthermore, Nat Jones, whose first and only 30 Days of Night work appeared in Annual 2005, is accredited in the upcoming Three Tales trade paperback ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1933239921/qid=1145044444/sr=1-6/ref=sr_1_6/103-5534875-2153423?s=books&v=glance&n=283155), leading me to believe that Annual 2005 did not appear in any other collection (why collect it a second time?). What appears to be 30 Days of Night - Bloodsucker Tales: Volume 2 can be found for sale at the following websites - http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1933239441/qid=1145035355/sr=8-4/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i4_xgl/202-4486501-0814228 and http://www.booksamillion.com/ncom/books?pid=1933239441 DJM_666 19:15, 14th April 2006

As the solicitations given for the trade paperback suggest that material such as the "Journal of John Ikos" was printed in single issue and trade paperback form concurrently and because the cover for the alleged Volume 2 trade is identical to the cover of Volume one (despite disparate subject matter), I assume that no such volume exists. Furthermore, while the other 30 Days of Night volumes remain for sale on amazon.com, I am now unable to find Bloodsucker Tales: Volume 2 on that site or instocktrades.com, two reputable sites. For these reasons, I have removed the volume 2 section from the 30 Days of Night page.-- Sillythekid 04:41, 14 April 2006

As far as I know, Bloodsucker Tales was concieved as an ongoing but was cancelled after 8 issues. Case in pont: The Journal of John Ikos was solicited to be the ninth issue of Bloodsucker Tales, but was released as 30 Days of Night Annual 2005. No issues of Bloodesucker Tales have shipped or have been solicited for quite some time, although two issues of a new miniseries, Dead Space, have been released. -- Sillythekid 19:04, 9 April 2006
