I was looking at the site on Google Maps, and was pleasantly surprised to see what looked like P-51 Mustangs!! It made me wonder— can they really be Mustangs, and do they really have planes going all the way back to the Second World War there?? I then did a search to find out what types of aircraft they have there, but couldn't find the answer.
This page on Wikipedia would naturally be a great place to have a list of what planes are there currently, and which are gone, etc.
I'm sure a true plane nerd would do well by this page to add it in!
Here's a link to the suspected Mustangs on Google Earth—
https://www.google.com/maps/@32.1659568,-110.8604895,86m/data=!3m1!1e3
If anyone knows what they are, it would be interesting to find out!
Thanks in advance, and keep 'em flying, girls and boys!

Where is the source(citation) for this information?: For instance, Turkey has purchased several Vietnam-era jets in recent years that had been stored on site
I will delete it, there is no reference nor reliable source for that information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Onursengul ( talk • contribs) 15:00, 13 August 2013 (UTC)
I checked a few of the USAF Fact Sheet links, can not find any notation for the assignment or reference to the 309th number. help? LanceBarber 19:34, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
I thought the military (DoD?) acronym Excess Defense Article (EDA) might be appropriately used and defined in this article. Any objections? 70.247.160.227 ( talk) 23:11, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
