Cancer Moonshot Duration

Kaplan says five years, [1] but AACR says seven years. [2] Can anyone clarify this? It appears to have been changed during discussion in the Senate, since the APA reported the House version was for nine years [3]. Sondra.kinsey ( talk) 17:23, 31 December 2016 (UTC) reply

Petroleum Sales

I'm having a hard time reconciling sources on petroleum sales. The bill itself talks about selling from 2018-2025, with only 4 billion barrels in 2018, but the EIA says:

The recently passed Cures Act calls for the sale of 25 million barrels of SPR crude oil for fiscal years 2017 through 2019. The first tranche of these sales is expected in late spring 2017. [1]

Can anyone make sense of this? Am I reading an earlier draft of the bill on accident? Sondra.kinsey ( talk) 19:16, 31 December 2016 (UTC) reply

@ FrozenMan: Thanks for your recent edit! Can you reply just to assure me that you read the bill and the discrepancy I described above makes sense to you? You don't even have to explain how. I know the EIA is a reputable source, but I just want to make sure they didn't make a mistake or some such. Sondra.kinsey ( talk) 22:47, 16 February 2017 (UTC) reply

APA Hopes

The APA lists many reasons they support the bill that I don't see in later reports. [1] Were these provisions removed from the final bill? If they are in the final bill, they are significant for its content. If they were removed, it should be noted as well, because this supports Senator Warren's bait-and-switch narrative. Either way, these hopes for the bill should be mentioned in the article. Sondra.kinsey ( talk) 19:20, 31 December 2016 (UTC) reply

Signed into law?

The article opens with the law being passed by congress but no mention of it being "signed into law" by a president. I assume it was, but it should be stated explicitly in the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.194.2.2 ( talk) 21:25, 22 June 2021 (UTC) reply
