Edmonton's by-elections need articles, or are you suggesting this is related to the previous election because it was held immediately after?

I don't think we need separate articles for those either; each can easily be dealt with as a subsection of the previous regular election article. But I hadn't seen those until you pointed them out; I only saw this one.
