"The title means 200 On The Counter, counter meaning the speedometer, referring to speeding."

No it doesn't. It means going 200 on the opposite side of the road (a rough translation of the English title 200 km/h in the Wrong Lane)

The current literal translation (200 on the Counter / 200 on the Speedometer) is incorrect.
The title translates to 200 (km/h) down the wrong side (of the road) or 200 (km/h) against the traffic.
"Встречная (полоса)" refers to the lane(s) of a road with the traffic direction opposite to the speaker's.
It has been more or less correctly translated as "the wrong lane" for the English release.
I supplied the correct translation with this detailed explanation in the "title translation fixed" revision on 2007.04.02
It was reverted to the incorrect "Speedometer" version by Fortyfeet on 2007.04.03

This is polish version of album's cover. It's different than russian edit - we can se here "200 PO VSTRIECHNOY" title (NOT "200 по встречной") and band's name as "TATU" (NOT "TATY"). :))) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.25.252.85 ( talk) 17:39, 25 January 2010 (UTC) reply

    • @ Cartoon network freak: Hi there. I know this is pretty late in requesting, but would you please be able to fail this article as a self-nomination. I do feel this article needs further development as it has been left nearly a year-ish since its nomination. My apologies for the inconvenience. Reasons for leaving Neposedy

Can we talk about this? The idea that Julia left because of bad behaviour has always been disputed. In Alessandro Paolinelli's book 't.A.T.u. story' (which is regarded as a reliable book due to the sourcing of knowledge of the group) it states that Julia left in 1998 to enrol on a singing course at Gnessin's State Musical College in Moscow. This is also backed up by a teacher at the school, Elena Pindzhoyan. Redplague1 ( talk) 11:36, 18 April 2021 (UTC) reply
