I'll take a look at this one, will post review as soon as possible. Kosack ( talk) 18:10, 30 June 2019 (UTC) reply

Initial review

Lead

  • "won the 400-lap race from a ninth position start, after he started from ninth position", this sentence repeats itself.

Background

  • "12th of 36 scheduled stock car race of the 2006 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series" > races?
  • "layout is a 1.5 mi", isn't m a suitable enough shortening for mile?

Practice and qualifier

  • "Three practice sessions were held before the race; one on Friday and two on Saturday. The first session on Thursday afternoon", I'm assuming that should be Friday afternoon judging by the first sentence?
  • "minor structural damage to his car on pit road", on the pit road?

Race

  • "went down pit road to for fuel, tires and car adjustments", sentence is a bit muddled.
  • "sections of metal was observed lying in turn two", were observed?
  • ". Riggs got back the lead on the 131st lap", won back the lead perhaps? Or even retook?
  • "and bent his vehicle's rear and spoiler", is there something missing after rear?

References

  • Ref 1 seems to have expired.

Nothing major to worry about, just a few minor issues to iron out. One or two of the references are inaccessible for me as I'm outside the US so I'll assume AGF on those. Placed on hold for now. Kosack ( talk) 12:13, 1 July 2019 (UTC) reply

    • @ Kosack: Have addressed all of the points raised above bar the 1.5 mi query because changing the measurement in the convert template from mi to m template changes it to metres. MWright96 (talk) 13:17, 1 July 2019 (UTC) reply
      • @ MWright96: All good, great work again. I'm happy this meets the required GA criteria, promoting. Kosack ( talk) 14:03, 2 July 2019 (UTC) reply
