  • "2001 World Snooker Championship" is overlinked.
  • "The Brighton Centre, where the tournament was held." fragment, no full stop.
  • "in 1995. Players competed " merge these short sentences, "in 1995 in which players competed"
  • "The Champions Cup had a prize fund of £200,000,[3] and was broadcast in the United Kingdom on ITV.[2]" probably worth noting how much went to the winner.
  • "The final on 19 August was played to the best-of-13 frames." this is oddly placed as you talk about the final then go back to describing the round robin stage.
  • " the semi-finals" you don't mention when these were played.
  • "Ronnie O'Sullivan (pictured in 2011)" complete sentence so needs a full stop.
  • "fourth frame" frame is overlinked.
  • 2000/01 - our article uses 2000–01 (as you did in the preceding section).
  • "could not go 3–2 ahead because h" reads odd to me. It's rather "He failed to take a 3–2 lead after..."
  • "Higgins entered the" entered seems odd to me, how about "qualified for"?
  • "1999 final " is overlilnked.
  • Because you're fixing the width of the table colums, Hendry and O'Sullivan's names span over two lines.
  • Group B table must contain an error: adding up FDs should come to zero. I think Higgins should be FW 14 FL 12 FD +2. The source repeats the error.
  • "Players in bold denote match winners" in the right-hand list sure, in the tables players in bold represent the players who qualified for the semi-finals...
  • "Numbers to the left of the players' name are the tournament seedings. " why change the format of how to represent the seedings from section to section?
  • "Best of 13 frames.[4]" no full stop required.
  • "Brighton Centre, Brighton, England, 19 August 2001.[28][32]" ditto.
  • "The highest break of 130 " and prize for that?

That's all I have on this first review. On hold. Cheers. The Rambling Man ( Stay indoors, stay safe!!!!) 15:13, 19 April 2020 (UTC) reply
