...from the article. Perhaps someone might look into the dates in question? Jkelly 04:46, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
It's all problematical, since the re-activated Div was 1 Cdn Div (or 1 Can Div) not 1 Cdn Inf Div. Why should the postwar 1 Cdn Div be under the 1 Cdn Inf Div page and not the (WW1) 1 Cdn Div page? (I write this as a former 1 Cdn Div historian.) The Red Patch continued to be worn by 1CDHSR (including Div HQ)/1 Int Coy through the 90s, by the way. -- NetNus ( talk) 21:24, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
Anybody notice that the 5th division is missing from the list at the bottom of the article? (its one of those auto generated lists, I'm not sure how to fix it; it isn't a problem with this particular page per se Feldercarb ( talk) 14:22, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
Order of Battle -- I assume this is from sometime in WWII? (The other division articles usually have a date for the OOB)
Dumb question - the brigades are composed of regiments? or battalions? Feldercarb ( talk) 03:00, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
Isn't the name of the Div only "1st Canadian Division" like here. There is three regiments in the div and none of them are infantry. Maybe we need to clean out a bit 1st Canadian Division and 1st Canadian Infantry Division because according to this article in the Maple Leaf this is the same Division from WWI that has been reactivated for WWII, and two times after (plus now). I think we should consider this as a single unit, 1st Canadian Division, that bear a different name (1st Canadian Infantry Division) for a period of a time. Amqui ( talk) 20:57, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
