Alexcs114, I'll have a review written for this within the next day or two. I see it's been about a month since your last edit, so let me know if you're still active and interested in bringing this article to GA. Otherwise, I'll write a review for posterity so that you (or anyone else) can get back to it at your leisure and renominate in the future.

Alexcs114, I've reviewed a few of the sources, and I found that significant portions of the text were copied from the sources with minimal changes. There are most likely more examples beyond the ones that I listed below. Articles should be written entirely by Wikipedia editors, using the facts from sources without copying their text. Close paraphrasing brings up potential copyright issues. I'm closing this review so that you or anyone else who is interested can rewrite the article using original text. All of the sources seem reliable. I notice that all but one are from 1986; this isn't great, because it means we can only list the bare facts of what happened without providing any meaningful analysis or any coverage of its relevance today. Nearly all of the sources are from The New York Times, and of those, a significant portion are written by Frank Lynn. The article should be written from a variety of perspectives (ideally including those of historians or other people studying the history of New York elections). I suggest finding more sources about this election.
