I think we should rename this to .450/400 3 1/4 Nitro Express or something similar and put redirect names for possible variants. This name is unwieldy and unlikely. AliveFreeHappy ( talk) 20:44, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

I believe the black powder express and nitro for black loadings should be removed from this article. The term Nitro denotes the use of cordite, whilst .450/400 Black Powder Express now effectively covers this content. Cavalryman V31 ( talk) 12:30, 14 November 2015 (UTC)
