on the wikipedia page for Bornean Orangutan, it mentions that "In some regions, orangutans occasionally eat soil to get minerals that may neutralize the toxins and acids they consume in their primarily vegetarian diets" Reference: https://www.orangutan.org/orangutan-facts I think this example should be added to the page as well, as it fits the requirements of zoopharmacognosy Laracleate ( talk) 05:22, 7 June 2021 (UTC)
We don't know why dogs eat grass They can say it's because of their metabolism That's why they only disturb up. 2600:1700:4E78:890:A55E:2C54:78BE:3072 ( talk) 00:40, 2 July 2022 (UTC) Seems too that dogs might just eat grass because they are hungry - https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2023/jun/02/why-do-dogs-eat-grass-and-when-is-it-not-safe-for-them perhaps this page is perpetuating that myth?
