The result of the move request was: consensus to move the pages, per the discussion below. For the time being, I have used the birth year, as this is an unalienable characteristic; it may not be an issue here, but this sort of disambiguation shouldn't require additional moves whenever citizenships or postings change. Please feel free to reinitiate a discussion to move to the country names if necessary, however.

Support I've sourced the d.o.b., but it was a pretty obscure source. Not all ambassadors are notable, but given this is the PRC in the context of diplomatic jockeying with Taiwan I'd say the Jordan one is certainly notable. And first Chinese ambassador to independent Ukraine yes that too. The proposed country disambiguation is a much much better solution that 1936 v 1930, these aren't footballers.

SupportZhang Zhen (diplomat, born 1930) and
Zhang Zhen (diplomat, born 1936). This clearly disambiguates the article titles and that's all we need without the unnecessary wordiness of the other option. Hatnotes and dabpages are quite sufficient for full disambiguation. However, if "Ambassador of China to Foo" is used then surely it should be "ambassador of China to Foo", lower case, just like, say,
Matthew Hutton (archbishop of Canterbury). --
