Donald Duke ({{Duke-RDC}}) agrees that it was 924 miles. Further, he has the orders in May and July. Crouse (1990) agrees with Duke on both counts, though they were writing independently.

That sounds great,
Mackensen. As I don't actually have access to the Duke book, I'd really appreciate it if you could add that information to the article. I think that would really help substantiate what I've stated in the two notes. Thanks!

Michael Barera: I'll take care of it. Duke can replace both Ingles and Robertson; they're not concerned primarily with the subject so I don't know that there's a need to mention them.
