It was confirmed in the same issue it was suggested. Zaladane had hooked Polaris up to a power stealing machine that only worked if both people were family members and successfully stole Polaris' powers. The fact that it worked was said to be proof that Zaladane was right about being related to Polaris. I guess it's still possible that she's wrong about the exact relation and is in fact a cousin not a sister but that's just mindless quibbling. —Preceding
