Not a notable pro based on what is in the current article. A starting big ten quarterback is not notable forever in an international encyclopedic manner just because he was one. Unless he was an extremely notable quarterback at Northwestern for reasons not yet apparent in the article, he does not justify an article based on my understanding of WP:N. He would either need to show that he was a professional quarterback at any level at some point or demonstrate notability for his collegiate endeavors.-- TonyTheTiger ( t/ c/ bio/ WP:CHICAGO/ WP:FOUR) 02:51, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
Kustok is a noteworthy player in Big Ten football history. He was very impressive at Northwestern, a key player in the long-term turnaround of the Wildcat football program that won 3 conference titles in the 6 seasons ending in the year 2000, following an eternity of losing seasons. Among his numerous accomplishments, he led his team with 2 TD passes and 2 TD runs in the "instant classic" victory, 54-51 over a strong Michigan team late in the 2000 season, that kept Northwestern in title contention. In some respects, he was a "mini-Tebow," certainly not a comparable athlete, but probably a better passer. I would vote to keep this article. Jrgilb ( talk) 05:06, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
