Locking

Due to the recent attack by Ukraine on the Khurs, I suggest this page gets locked for a bit ScruffyFox ( talk) 19:29, 25 May 2023 (UTC) reply

Let's lock it for upto 24 hours. Or until we get confirmation either way. If Russians don't publish any proof that the ship is still afloat, that will go a long way to justify that maybe it did sink. Javelinbellbottoms ( talk) 19:58, 25 May 2023 (UTC) reply

The sources claims that the drone "detonated near" the vessel - how this could be considered "hit by" since there wasn't a physical contact between the crafts? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.90.203.18 ( talk) 07:56, 26 May 2023 (UTC) reply

There appear to be two distinct pieces of footage floating around: in one, presumably shot from the ship itself, one of the drone boats can be seen exploding at a certain distance when hit, but in the other one, an FPV perspective from the boat, it can be seen approaching until contacting the port side of the vessel near the stern before the video feed cuts off. 145.224.104.77 ( talk) 15:27, 26 May 2023 (UTC) reply
OSINTdefender posted 3 vids and a picture of the ship sailing into the port, without any damage. Therefore it it unlikely that there was actual contact between the two vessels.

This account is notorious for posting pro-russian propaganda. It should not be used for validation of facts, one way or the other. Javelinbellbottoms ( talk) 23:33, 26 May 2023 (UTC) reply
There is a satellite photograph of the ship back in harbour, but the extent of damage is not visible https://twitter.com/MT_Anderson/status/1662199951596883968?t=ciGV7zB9-_-VaDocCMSDtA&s=19 ScruffyFox ( talk) 06:15, 27 May 2023 (UTC) reply
