This article reads like a dump of the artist's complete list of works. Does anyone who is knowledgeable about art feel able to reduce this to a compact article that is more encyclopedic? It currently reads like something that is cut-and-pasted from his resume. We don't need to know about every one of his shows, but if there are articles that others have written about him, we would like to get a more complete picture of his significance. The list of shows is probably available on an external website that we could link to, and thus does not have to be included here.

I've gone through some of the extensive resume. I can't find any sources to substantiate the claims made. The "artist" is a presence on a large number of online communities. Possible hoax?--

Student exhibitions and awards
I've removed from the extensive resume shows and awards dated to when the subject was a student. These are unlikely to be significant, at least until notability can be established.--

OK, now I've removed an open-submission competition and some galleries that don't seem to exist outside the artist's biography. That's not to say they never did exist, just that the exhibitions are unlikely to be significant. I've also removed a 1977 group show (“Das Sofortbild Polaroid,” Aktionsgalerie). This may be more significant because it appears on the CVs of other artists (John Baldessari, Peter Weibel, Valie Export), though Messen-Jaschin isn't listed in the exhibition catalogue
