@ Guy Macon: It is unusual for an ethnic group to have strong reservations about one of its own members. For reference I just looked at the Tim Scott article. He was heavily rejected by black constituents but supported and elected by white majorities. The cited article was very clear about this division. It didn't say anyone was "evil," just that there was concern in the Korean community that the Republican party is hostile to immigrants but Kim chose to run as a Republican. The cited source was an Oriental newspaper. "We" don't have to change any articles. You don't have to change this one. Activist ( talk) 15:08, 17 November 2018 (UTC)
For Pete's sake, let's stop going overboard on the sports metaphors in writing about electoral politics! A little is cheesy, more is in poor taste, a lot is offensive. Wegesrand ( talk) 17:15, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
