This statement has a "needs citation" tag attached to it currently. The Wiki article on the Going Snake Massacre, however, claims that eight U.S. Marshals were killed while attempting to take custody of an alleged murderer named Zeke Proctor in 1872. Only six officers were killed by the Young brothers. Does this knock that assertion out of the water, or is there some reason to discount it? 71.129.81.136 20:55, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
