I'm taking this paragraph out for a couple of reasons:
Not to say that the kid isn't spaced-out sometimes, but I don't think the paragraph adds anything. - Omnisentry 03:47, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Shrines do not confuse Yotsuba: in chapter 5, she not only knows that festivals take place in shrines but how to pray at one. I'm replacing that example with doorbells, as it does take a couple days for her to get the hang of them (both inside and outside uses). Quasirandom 18:42, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
When Yotsuba claims she's "from the left," is she talking about her (adoptive) grandparents' home or where Koiwai found her? In chapter 4, Mrs. Ayase seems to think Yotsuba meant a home overseas, but throughout the first several chapters, when someone asks where she's from, as far as I can tell she responds with information about where she just moved from (either "the left" or, while gesturing with her left arm, "waaaaay over there"; in a 4-koma in ch 24.5, she does both). It's not even clear to me she has any memories from before she came to Japan. Quasirandom 18:50, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
As part of establishing the notability of Yotsuba-chan (given recent changes about inheritance of notability in WP:FICT) we need to establish her out-of-universe existence. Which I take to mean a) noting critical/reviewer reactions to her (going through reviews already cited in the main article for a start) and b) find citations for those two instances of Yotsuba as pop culture references -- and possibly find others. Any help with the latter would be appreciated. (I mean, I can see Yotsuba imagery throughout 4chan -- how do we cite/source that?) — Quasirandom 21:38, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Anyone up for summarizing Yotsuba merchandize? I know about the figurine, but not much beyond its existence (any sales figures?), and the materials mentioned the main article of course. Is there anything else encyclopedic? — Quasirandom 14:15, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
It occurs to me I should copy out those peer review points that are still unaddressed, just so we can keep track:
The second being something essentially a request for an "Origins and influences" section, if we can gather enough from Azuma's statements about it. — Quasirandom ( talk) 21:36, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Although she is shown frequently on 4chan as 404 girl, she is not 4chan's mascot and should otherwise be considered a meme on the website. - Crazyconan ( talk) 06:43, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
Kraftlos, since you reassessed this to C from B, a question: which of the 6 B-level criteria do you think this doesn't meet? Just to have pointers on what to work on. (I mean, I know what I think needs doing, but that's just me.) — Quasirandom ( talk) 02:56, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
