Insufficient amount of content added to qualify as a fivefold expansion. Due to the size of the prose, it is unlikely that this nomination would be expanded to meet requirements. This could be marked for closure if no expansion is planned.

That's a shame, but it makes sense and is something I should have picked up on when making the nomination. The limited source material available for a football club which existed for only nine years over a hundred years ago means expanding the article much beyond where it is now will be very difficult.

Given that the nominator has acknowledged that further expansion will be difficult, the nomination is now marked for closure. There is however still a path for the article to be featured on DYK and that is if the article is brought to GA status. There is no prejudice against a new nomination being opened if the article becomes a GA.
