Inaccuracy: "(he retired from the latter in July, 2005)"

He taught two courses at UoA this past Spring (2008). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wherewithal ( talkcontribs) 10:21, 3 August 2008 (UTC) reply

Hmm, was I wrong about him having retired? The two things are not necessarily contradictory; I think occasionally there are courses taught by profs who are officially retired. But I'll comment out the remark until someone can find a way to settle the question. -- Trovatore ( talk) 21:44, 3 August 2008 (UTC) reply
He is most definitely retired from UoA. He had mentioned that there is forced retirement in Greece after a certain age, and he is past this age. Also, it is very common for professors to continue teaching well after they retire, going by the title emeritus professors. 68.5.115.22 ( talk) 06:33, 31 May 2010 (UTC) reply
