I suggest identifying and referencing the awards to show their significance. Any town can award the only butcher the "Best Butcher Shop in Yamba" award for example. The quantity of awards is not significant without some context of what the awards are judged against.
I kept the two specifics, but references for the Tidy Towns award and 3rd best town award would be good.-- Scott Davis Talk 10:15, 30 November 2005 (UTC)
How could a town be discovered before it was founded??!!! - James Griffin, 29th March 2006
Aboriginal people lived in the area for thousands of years before Matthew Flinders was anywhere near the place, so I have reworded the reference to his so-called discovery. 2006-08-10.
Any links to back this up? 144.134.73.114 06:34, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
It's being reported by ninemsn.com and news.com that Yamba has been voted Best town in Australia 'by a panel of tourism and travel experts,' according to a survey conducted by Australian Travel magazine. Just wondering if this is actually notable enough to warrant inclusion in it's entry? PizzaofDoom ( talk) 05:02, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
Would anyone care to add info about Yamba's library or museum or other?? ( Sleepy47 ( talk) 04:17, 8 February 2011 (UTC))
