Folks, what are those "critical" systems which are vulnerable to power shortage are in use on Yak-52? I believe, "critical" means "crash if not function", isn't it? -- jno 11:52, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
Are most of the ~1800 aircraft produced really in the West now? Many - yes - but most suggests more than 900! Nigel Ish 01:44, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
ALL of the 1800+ Yak-52 (except the first prototype) were manufactured by the Aerostar in Bacau, Romania. Zapacitu, 18 Jan 2007
You shouldn't charge a Yak-52 pneumatic system with nitrogen. The gas is pumped directly into the cylinder head to depress the pistons and nitrogen will not support combustion. Therefore the fuel/gas mix in the cylinder will not fire and the engine will not start. You'd have brakes and flaps, but no engine Kotukunui ( talk) 03:28, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
